“College scholarships are the bridges to academic and personal growth. “ – Unknown

Since 2020, the Education Over Debt Foundation has awarded $10,000 in scholarships to nine students pursuing higher education. Our scholarship provides financial assistance to students from under-resourced communities, enabling them to pursue higher education without the burden of excessive debt. By alleviating some of the financial pressures associated with higher education, we help these students focus on their studies to achieve their educational goals.

Scholarships are available February – April

General Scholarship: Provided to African American students attending a four-year College or University not recognized as a Historically Black College or University.

HBCU Scholarship: Provided to African American students attending a Historically Black College or University.

Dreamer Scholarship: Provided to Non-African American students of color attending a two-year or four-year College or University.

Future Leader Scholarship: Provided to African American students working towards an Associates degree while in high school attending a four-year College or University.
