Workshop Facilitators:

Volunteers can lead or assist in our financial literacy workshops, sharing knowledge and skills in personal finance and wellness. Facilitators help students develop the tools they need to make informed decisions as they transition into adulthood.

Mentors:

Our mentorship program pairs students with experienced professionals who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. Mentors help students navigate the challenges of higher education and career planning, offering advice on academic choices, personal development, and financial management.

5K Run4More Event Volunteers:

Volunteers are crucial to the success of our bi-annual 5K Run4More event. Opportunities include event setup and breakdown, registration, water stations, and course marshals. This event is a key fundraiser and community engagement activity for Education Over Debt.

Scholarship Application Reviewers:

Volunteers can assist in reviewing scholarship applications and selecting recipients based on financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement. This role is essential in ensuring that scholarships are awarded to deserving students.

Community Outreach:

Volunteers can help with outreach efforts to promote Education Over Debt’s programs in local schools, community centers, and online platforms. This includes distributing informational materials, attending community events, and engaging with potential partners and supporters.
