An encouraging & motivational speech for students as they get ready to attend college.

College Today – I discuss how attending college has changed in the past 10 years and what students should be aware of before embarking on the journey.
Overcoming obstacles – I discuss techniques to overcome obstacles in a positive way.
Take Action – I discuss what students can do now to develop their character and take ownership for achieving their goals.

Preparation & Financial Aid 101 Workshop

45 – 60 minutes

Defining Your “Why” – I ask students to get clear about their “why” for attending for attending college.
Financial Aid – I discuss the Financial Aid package, help students understand the Award Letter, and differences between grants and loans.
Take Action – I give an action plan for students to implement to achieve their goals.
