Defining Your “Why” – I ask parent & students to get clear about their “why” for sending their child to college and students their “why” for attending college.
Financial Aid – I discuss the Financial Aid package, help parents & students understand the Award Letter, and differences between grants and loans.
Take Action – I give an action plan for parents and students to implement to achieve their goals.

After College…Now What?

45 – 60 minutes

What Will Payday Mean For You? – I discuss how to create a spending plan to meet your wants, needs, and goals, while understanding the basics of credit development for students to be successful while in college and beyond.
Simple strategies to accumulate wealth – I discuss the difference between saving & investing and how students can start with little instead of waiting for the BIG pay day.
Take Action – I discuss what students should ask when discussing income with employers and give handouts to discuss their financial jour ney.

College & Beyond

45 – 60 minutes

An abbreviated workshop of the “Financial Aid 101” and “After College Now What?” workshops that combines the topics for students to understand college preparation and basic money management techniques.
